↠ Name: Kurt Wagner | "Nightcrawler"
↠ Canon: Marvel Comics; AU
↠ Journal: https://blueberry-bamf.dreamwidth.org/
↠ Canon Point: Approximately Uncanny X-Men #444, with a corrected/adjusted timeline to make sense of different author/artistic interpretations over the years.
↠ Age: 31
↠ Reference/History: Click Here!
↠ Powers / Abilities: Can teleport by instantaneously opening and traveling through a portal into another dimension, but is limited by distance (no more than two miles) and sight—he has to have seen where he will emerge or else runs the risk of materializing within a solid object; able to cling to solid surfaces; can render himself invisible in shadows by manipulating the portal to the dimension he teleports through to bend light around himself. Olympic-class acrobat thanks to a highly flexible spine; skilled hand-to-hand combatant and a master at fencing; able to triple-wield thanks to his tail.
↠ Languages: German (native tongue), Romani, English, Swedish, French
↠ Inventory: Twin swords, rosary, heavily annotated Bible (Einheitsübersetzung translation), equally heavily read copy of The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas, small golden cross necklace.
↠ What is Your Character's Sin?: Lust – This has been identified in the comics (albiet in a dubiously written arc) as Kurt’s greatest sin that ultimately prevents him from being able to join the priesthood. Considering his numerous relationships over the course of the comics, it’s easy to agree with this deduction—Kurt struggles with being single, wanting to be coupled with, and accepted by, someone. This may stem from his early abandonment by both birth parents, his issues with his physical appearance, the somewhat complicated relationship with his foster family…
